Let’s Be Honest About Plastic

Some consider plastic a wonder invention, and in all honesty, plastic has worked its way into everyone’s life. Nearly half of the items we consume are associated with plastic in one form or another—from our car parts to our homes—it’s difficult to eliminate plastic products. No matter how much we care about helping our environment, we are going to need to be honest about the role plastic plays in our society.One-Use Plastic Straw

Unfortunately, plastic (and other garbage) is polluting our environment and hurting nature, animals, and humans. The good news is that we can reduce the amount of plastic that ends up in our landfills, oceans, and beaches throughout the world. You can make small choices that can have a significant impact. Through recycling programs, reusing, and reducing the use of one-use plastic items, you can make a difference.

We don’t have all the answers, but one way we have found to help schools, businesses, and individuals make a change is to offer stainless steel straws at affordable prices. Plastic straws are not biodegradable and cannot be broken down naturally. Most plastic straws break down into smaller particles that release chemicals into the soil, air, and water that are harmful to animals, plants, people, and the environment. That’s why we’ve declared war on one-use plastic straws.

Check out our collection of stainless steel straws if you're looking for an affordable way to reduce your carbon footprint and sip sustainably. If you don’t see what you are looking for, please shoot us an email. We can usually find stainless steel straws in any size, color, and design.
